i know there is a oem version of our hood
I know there is a oem version if the hood in carbon but if u wanted to do it cheap and have a steady hand but a huge sticker of fake carbon fiber and rap what u want the weight reduction in the hood would not be that diferent because u have to rember we have an aluminum hood it is light as hell now weighing about 36 pounds carbon would be like 30 pounds woo 6 pounds for like 600 bucks way not worth it and u have to rember there are difernt grades of carbon fiber cheaper the more bridle it is honestly rap it with a sticke u can find them on ebay for like 40 bucks cheaper than a hood and trunk by far and looks real!!!

you could try a vinyl CF Overlay but how ghetto can you get?!?!? #1 it's going to be hard to find a 4'-5' wide sheet of that stuff and #2 your going to pay a decent amount for it with the risk of air bubbles etc after applying it. #3 it will not last as long as the real thing.

CF Overlay?? no no no no no... please dont ever do that to the maxima, if anything for the pillars outside of the car, but even that can be bad

Would that hood fit on a max with alittle work here and there. If so where can you buy that hood from I would try it.

Doubt it, not really feeling the vents in the hood. The vents make it look kinda cheesy, kinda like a bodykit with to many vents and openings.

Too many vents - looks like the vents on the ole school movie, Corvette Summer - that look is way too trendy and will fade...
