Wood grain kit

I was thinking of purchasing the full wood grain kit from Veneerz. Has anyone added a wood grain kit to their car? If so, how did it turn out?

That's definitely what I want. Let me see...I pawned all my wifes jewelry for the rims. I sold one of my oldest sons kidneys for the spoiler and a bottle of Crown Royal. I still have one kid left....so I'm pretty sure I can get this wood grain kit HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Foose Spanks and wood grain interior. Hmmm, not feeling it bro.

To each his own of course, some may not like my mods, but the wood just aint me.

Have you sat in an SL? might be worth a trip to a dealer if not, get the feel of it vs the brushed look.

Good luck!

Jayz - I think that wood grain would look really nice. The Spanks don't have that Euro racing look so anything will go with them. I'm stilll on the fence about the wood grain but I'm definitely leaning towards getting it. Hey..I'm originally from Beaumont Texas..right down I-10 from you.

I like the wood grain. There are a few manufacturers making it. I came upon one with the best kit I've seen. Now I can't find the site. The difference was all the controls were labeled. Thats a mod for me. I'm waiting for them to get real with the price. 300.00+ $$ for plastic. Come on.

I'm looking to match the stock wood trim. i have the SL and they put a few pieces on it and I think it needs the rest The kit I'm looking for has the marlings for the controls etched in the trim. Is that the kit you sell?

not sure what you're saying... you mean words on the dash itself for the controls?

Hi,

Just bought one from this site.
http://www.wooddashexperts.com
I have an SL and the OEM match was flawless.

Personnaly went for the "Basic kit" 16 pieces, if you prefer more there is a 39pcs kit.
There is many kits for the 6th gen:

But in my own opinion it would be too much wood ...

I should have time soon so I'll take pics and post them.

The words for the controls are etched in the wood kit. Like volume, etc. Does the kit you have come that way?

Yo, my cousin had a Mercedes ML 350. He had a black wood grain, not sure of the name though. Do they have those and how much? Also is it easy to install or you have to go to a body shop? I can't really buy it since my dad drives the car also. I have to ask him if he wants it.
