deus- that's true, but it still sits 3 or 4 inches above the trunk. also, it juts out over the back of the trunk by at least two inches. whether or not that's a problem is up to you; i think it's too round for the 6th gen and would heighten the "boat" look some people talk about. i also think it's a little too big, unless maybe you had a really extreme body kit to go with it, but that would probably just look ricey. i'll photoshop them for you if you can give me pics of your car or some other black maxima at the right angles.

which you'll post in the proper Sticky right?

Dues, if you like them, then well, you like them. IMO, I'm happy with my oem. if I didn't have it, I'd go w/ the G or honda one (whichever i found cheaper). anything more is too much.

If you took off the lip spoiler and cut away the half circle thats designed to support the emblem you'd have a finished product dues...but thats easier said than done of course.

im not sure it can be cut because it will leave an unfinished edge. If you guys think these spoilers wouldnt look right, are there any other ones that you think would other than the G and Honda spoiler?

Any opinions?

i like the accord one better. the accord's body lines are closer to the 6th gen than a lancer. IMO the spoiler will flow better with the look of the car.

I notice that the Accord 2 door has more of a rounded rear than the Max. Is this a problem in terms of lines, when fitting a spoiler from that car?

Those are pretty funny pictures. Like I said, I prefer something "distinctive" but not overboard like those double triple spoilers. Im not making final decisions yet, til I get more feedback from you guys, whose opinions I value, good or bad. Its great to have a forum like this where we can be honest and not get upset over criticism. And that post is a case in point, cuz thats pretty damn funny. I cant believe people actually do stuff like that.

Anyway, any suggestions for spoilers other than the G and Accord that would go with the lines of our awesome ride? U dont like the erebuni accord spoiler?

Also fairly ordinary. I want something a bit more distinctive. Whatdo u think about this spoiler from Aerogear? Here is a pic on an Altima:

What do you think of this rear spoiler on a Maxima?
