changing the oil change notify??

changing the oil change notify??

ok..i get my oil change done every 3000 ish miles..or 2500 miles..but the computer on my navi screen has it up to 7500 miles..i know i can set the little cursor to less miles for notify..but is there a way to change the whole 7500 "bar" into like 3000 miles??dam..i dont know if you can understand my point..sorry for my bad english..

the navi screen says 7500 miles. if im not mistaken ,you want it to be dropped down to 3000 miles... am i correct?

when in park, the brackets around the # will flash. use the joy stick to change it.

yes i did that but only the cursor will go down to 3500..will the 7500 full bar itself would change to 3500??

7500 is the default for Tire Rotation. 3750 is default for oil change. I recall it being easy change both up and down and resetting by playing with it. I do not remember exactly. plus I don't have Navi, so maybe yours is different. I know both are in the manual though. that's in the sticky.

i read the manual..but those features were not listed..i will call my dealership and ask tommorow..

are you replying to plage 135 aan 136 becuase i cant find anything else..and it only tells me how to reset the meter and set the cursor to notify at what ever miles i want for oil change..but the full bar stays at 7500 for my car..and yes its not the tire rotation its the oil change marker..anyone with 05 ??what miles do you have on the oil change full bar meter.

yes that would be 135 in the sticky. it clearly says what to press to change it.
