Breaking ground yet again to find bits of American Maxima's that fit Aussie 6th Gen's ...

Fitted K & N Airfilter 33-2031-2 and it fits exactly into the airbox holder...yea-hoo ..

Car seems to go a little better but didn't get to put than many km's on it with it yet .. and thankfully no engine warning lights came on either..

Now can somebody please beg, borrow, steal .. post me up some pictures of an unmodified 3.5 L engine bay as we have some other strange little boxes which attach to out intake route between the airsensor and the induction manifold , which just look like little expansion air boxes but connect to nothing else have no pipework connected to them and I dont understand the reason for their existance. Just want to see if you have them on your motors and if not I can remove them and block them off.
