I have 20 X 8.5 and it doesnt rub when i turn the wheel all the way to any side. I think it might with 9 but im not sure. I think i would have liked to get 9 because i like the wider wheels, but the rims i wanted were only 8.5 like most other 20 inch wheels.

I'm running 20 X 8.5 with 255/35/20 tires on Eibachs and I get an occasional rub if someone is in the back and I hit a steep incline. The others folks don't notice it but I notice it. It's rare but it does happen from time to time. I chalk it up to the 255 tires. I'm sure if I had went with a 245 it wouldn't rub at all.
