I've been keeping my ears open for bad struts since my car is approaching 20k. I have started to hear though another odd sound. When I get in the car, start it up and proceed to back up with the wheel turned I hear a clunking noise. Only once....just a "clunk". I was bad an didn't bring it in for the last 2 services so.....they just charge so much but I think it's due. Any ideas?

 

I get that sound... It turned out that my front passenger cv boot was leaking grease everywhere. New part on the way under warranty.

 

if your steering wheel stiffens for that little moment.. i know what ur talkin about.. dealer said "could not duplicate". Incompetent ********...
