Just ordered me some SS side moldings...will post pics soon.

You guys know how I like my chrome. Took the polished stainless steel over the carbon fiber ones since it will match better. To give you guys an idea, I ordered them from a different place, about 104 bucks shipped, but looking forward to them on my Spirited Bronze.....now just need to get my faded chrome stock roof trim replaced...

Thanks to silvermaxSI for the pics. Was thinking of the carbon ones like ramberg....but nothing on my exterior that would go with it and looking for long life out of the stainless....

Shot of rambergs.

And now....just a because pic of a fake carbon non functional BMW shark antenna on a Max.....why....has no function, but just some new stuff. Hey, if it makes this guy happy....alot of BMW guys get the fake ones just for the look....shark antenna is not all that anyways.

Anyhow.....you guys know how I like to post different stuff. Check out the Maxima Mod page for other stuff I finally updated. Thanks to ALL for the new pics.

i was thinking of getting a sharkfin... painting it to match body color..

so i ordered it, received it, then changed my mind...

its brand new (silver) but definatley better looking than the one in the pic (more length to it making it more proportionate to its hight).

I think ill try the box type antennas... i think that looks more elegant than this. just my opinion.

Why you trying to get rid of them? The look good. Going for bigger and better? Interesting thing is it seems wheels tend to jump from 18 to 20, 19in must not be too popular.

Did you have to worry about offset or anything like that?
Anyone want to give me a lesson on offset, (preferably in reference to our cars) I'd be glad to listen or read a link.

wheel offset information

http://www.usacomp.com/Offset.htm

wheel offset calculator http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

well 18's are stock size, so most people want to go bigger. now if you get 19's, your an inch away from having 20's. having 20's is like a whole new ball game. you'll get more reaction from people when you say u have 20's instead of 19's.

I like the stock 18's. If I go bigger, I'll destroy my wheels with the roads here. we have pot holes that are like mini swimming pools here. so its one less thing to worry about.

Where can I get SS inserts

Where can I get SS inserts?
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=404168
How much should I expect to pay?
And any install tips.

Think I am going with inserts and a sub for my last mods. Then the money is gone Unless of course my wife gets generous for Fathers day!

I got mine off Ebay. There is another site somewhere, can't remember but was a bit cheaper. Mine should be here I expect next week. As far as install, I imagine with 3M tape, just wipe area clean with alcohol, stick, then done.
