Gold lettering on red calipers with bronze rims
I received my lettering for my calipers. Install was easy. I cleaned the calipers with wheels cleaner, not caliper cleaner. Then I roughed up the surface with 320 grit sandpaper. I applied the decal letters which went on very easily. I used a credit card to make sure the edges were down. Then I used high temp clear coat - about 5 coats.
How do you all like it?

Thanks guys. Appreciate the kind words. I plan on painting the rears tomorrow (Sunday). I can't think of anything clever I can do to them, other than matching red paint. Lettering is too large for the puny rear calipers.

I think yellow would look really good on an Onyx Max. I'm pretty sure the Duplicolor caliper paint h\comes in yellow, as probably does the G2 paints. Maybe someone can photoshop that? Calling sparq!!!!
Deus, those calipers look great! You really mean it when you plan on making something by yourself... And about that yellow color...please guys DON'T. Yellow is so difficult to keep clean on your hood, imagine the calipers! Red masks the dirt a little better, but yellow? Are you out of your mind! You would have to clean it when you leave to work and when you get to work...
