I was watching the fox 11 news this morning and they had a test for side collsions with an SUV/truck. All in all the Maxima was tested as mediocre. They didnt elaborate anything on it, but geez that sux *****.

 

The 'mediocre' was actually an 'adequate'. And it was only for side impact collision with an SUV. The '04/'05 Maxima tested very well (4 stars, even 5 stars for front driver's side offset) in government testing of other type collisions.
