I had the same problem and it mysteriously fixed itself. Took delivery of my brand new Max. The first few days of turning on the AC, it didn't blow cold at all. Made an appointment to take it back to the dealer to get the ac looked at and a day later the ac started blowing cold as it should. It's been fine ever since. You might need a recharge, although it shouldn't need it that soon. Still under warranty? If so, see if your dealer will handle it for you.

do you like to type in all CAPS or do you really hit SHIFT for every word

If you always have it set to 70-75 AUTO and AC doesn't seem cold, call your dealer.

My recirculation switches off and on by itself depending on the temp outside it seems. I just noticed it this week actually. Once the car cools down inside, it will start bringing outside air in.

I noticed that too. I think the logic is kind of flawed the way they designed that. You would think they would have it starting with the fresh air setting since the air inside the car is usually much hotter then outside after sitting in the sun, then switch over to recirc for the economy once things have cooled down some.
