If the piece was adheared to the hood (and was made with precision tolerances) it could look like the photochop. But it wont be made that perfect, so the best bet is to stick it to the headlamp and get it close to the hood..I mean, that gap is not bad at all...I think you'd be way too nit-picky to really care...and with a black maxx...'fogetaboudit!'
TTT - UPDATE!
Just met with Andy (designer) to discuss the eyelid project and others for our 6th gen! I met up with him at a meet for 350 Z's and G35 coupes. Let me just say those cars were FRICKING HOT! Andy had done a lot of work on a majority of the guys rides, great, great quality - wish I had brought my camera, next time for sure
Andy is a great guy and DEFINITELY likes the potential for the new MAX. In fact he was talking about buying one, although his Z was off the hook
Anyway he took a template of the headlight for extending the hood design out pretty much like the photoshop. He also saw a TON of potential in doing overlays for the reverse lights, side markers and cornering lights. He took templates of them ALL and should have prototypes done by early next week.
We are going to meet up probably by next weekend and try all of the stuff on - do a TON of photos for the org and generate interest. Again, I can't stress howe NICE the work was that I saw on the Z & G crowds from Andy and if that's any sign of things to come from him you guys are going to be STOKED! I am forwarding him the link to the thread and he said he will probably sign up as an org member to answer questions for you guys. I'm pumped about this and hope you guys are too!

OK Guys! Just got finished throwing on the eyelids! I think you guys are going to be STOKED. BUT Andy made me promise not to post pics because he is going to start a thread tomorrow with pics and how to order. We are doing shading of the turn signals next. I iwould like to personally THANK Andy and the rest of his G & Z crowd for being so cool and digging my max.
