as far as i know, only people who can't post pics simply don't know how. he can't start a new thread, but this one is where they should go anyway. i'd post them, but i'm off to work soon. if he has trouble, you can always do it.

They look pretty good but I have one question. For the members with Smoke (like myself),Red Opulence or Majestic Blue, how does he plan on coming close to those colors? Silver, Black and White are easy. I'm interested but if I cannot get them close to Smoke, I won't buy. In my experience with vinyl, you can paint over it but it will not last. Good lookin out though.

Edit: Would be nice if he came up with the smoked headlight and tailight for the 6th gen too. I'd jump all over that but I'll take these for now and try them.

If you check ou his site www.bluebatmobile.com he has matching colors for other rides so I'm sure he can do smoke.

Maybe its just me because i just woke up and can't see straight. But do they just cover the drl? It looks like they are slightly inward to the hood lines by the fenders. Otherwise it looks great. I'm going to buy them either way.

I honestly like the more aggressive look the eyelids give the headlights, but dont they make them look more like the Altimas headlights??

With the Altima looking more and more like the Max, the last thing I want to do is make my Max look like the Alti.

BTW, how thick are they?? Are they just a cheap thin sticker??

It's pretty thick Vinyl and matches well to the paint.

I also don't want my Max being mistaken for an Altima but that was happening before already If anything I think it gives the hood a more Z look IMO...

Those aren't mine. But that guy on ebay has taken pics of my Overlays for his auctions ! A few of the guys on our Z and G35 boards brought it to my attention a while back. Really pisses me off. A few of them actually reported him to ebay and had some of my pictures removed, but he still continues to do it.

Looks good Blue Batmobile....if you got some in Spirited Bronze that matches....let me know. Will be wanting some. Looking forward to the set price and color match options. I have seen pics of your work for quite a while, good stuff. Appreciate you taking the time to finally hook us 6th gen Max guys up.....now.....what about the rear tail lights? Anything body color to overlay on them? That would be awsome!!!

Bluebatmobile is working on side marker overlays, cornerlight overlays and I believe tailight overlays as well. We did some templates for the headlights first and if there is a good response then he will probably produce the rest. Thanks for the comments guys!

I'm willing to guess that at a 7 year vinyl they are what, 2-3 mil correct? If that's the case, MObruin your not going to be able to reuse them once installed and dried. They will simply stretch out if you get them off in one piece. Let me ask you this blue, if and when I decide to take these off, if there is adhesive left behind, how are you removing that? I'd be afraid to use anything too toxic like rapid remover/good off etc. I know at that mil, you should be able to heat them up and remove them cleanly but I'd like to know your experiences with the plastic headlights.

oh and I hate to sound like a know it all. I don't want to come off like that. I was in the vinyl business for 5.5 years and our High Performance vinyl at 2mil was nice to work with. How exactly are you matching colors like the smoke etc? Dye printing? Thermal imprinting?

As far as color matching goes, I'll take some samples from my supplier and match them up with the actual cars. It's safe to say I have black, white and silver already . Some of the Maxima colors closely resemble the colors for the Z and G35. I already have those .

Oh well, I wanted to start a new thread, but I'll go ahead post post pics up now, enjoy! I really like the look of these, very aggressive imo. I've started a Maxima Gallery within my website, so all Overlays for the Maxima can be found there .

this might be a stupid question but 6gmxh1 6th Gen Maxima Headlight Eyelid Overlay $20. $25 for dual version.

does that mean 1 headlight for $20, and both for $25?

also, how do we purchase them?

I think they'd look just fine on them. I'm going to order them just to see what they look like. I have a feeling they will be hard to match my paint, just because of the way mine is. But you never know.

Dual is a black layer underneath to keep light from shining through. If you're car is already black, no need for the dual versions . Some people don't mind light shining through, so I make it an option. Email me to order:
