its a $20-25 investment...if it doesnt look good. just take it off. although I can see the concern about the Red. Black is a much easier color to match.

gurlie..whats wrong with the left eyelid?? doesnt look as sharp as the right...or is it me?? probably just a bad angle shot...post pics on grill mod a s a p ..thanks!

 

I never noticed it in the pics, but when i look at it after you mentioned it i lightened the picture -- and it was just the angle that the pic was taken. Black on Black is hard to get the correct exposure/lighting.

Hey Wakkus --- don't mean to get off topic --- but I'm really liking the lower mesh valance on your ride ---- you modify one for an altima to fit??? think it will fit the stock front bumber cover??

 

3hp to the wheels, is actually 8hp crank... yes you do feel it, I'm spining those 22s all day!!

 

gec, that lower grille will not look right on the stock bumper. I have the grille and it looked way too stupid. so I have it in storage until I get something else to make it look right. You need a stillen lip that has a cutout for the mesh grille to fit properly

 

Yep, this grille is for a 5th gen Maxima, also made by Street scene. After you install the Stillen front lip, it fits almost perfectly on the opening left on the bumper....

I just received my smoke eyelids, will install today and have pics tomorrow....

 

I just got my eyelids installed, and to tell you the truth, I'm not very happy. I was hoping to get the eyelids body colored, but got them transparent smoke!!! Here are some pics....

 

That's what I was worried about, and the reason I didn't buy mine yet... Yours are even worse than what I thought they'd look like (no offense, but you know it's true )... I want an overlay, not a sticker... if it's made from 3mm vinyl and looks like paper, it's not worth it IMO, especially if it doesn't match the body color exactly.

If somebody would take this and outline them in thick(er) plastic, and paint them with matching OEM paint then it's a better idea. Yeah it's expensive, but does anybody think those "smoke" ones are worth $40?

 

Similar issue with the majestic blue, its too light and does not have the metallic look to it.

Really now, how hard can it be to paint a piece of vinyl the right color people want??

They were $20, not $40, and I'm getting in touch with the guy right now to see what can be done. The ones on Tek's ride look very good, and I just wanted them to look body colored.

I think for our cars its recommended to get the double overlays. Its basically a black colored eyelid that goes underneath the body colored eyelid.

This makes it thick enough to block the HIDs from coming through.

Honest mistake guys. I though he meant smoke, as in smoke tint! I just realized there is a color called smoke! I will get another set out this weekend. Check your email .

I was going to point out you shoulda ordered double layered, but then saw this you should still order double layers.

So did you design "gray" to match Smoke?
