How hard is it to get these painted?? A paint shop can color match perfectly, why can't these come perfectly matched??

It has already been mentioned that even the ones on BlueBatmobile will only be 95% close.

I am thinking the pic on the ebay auction is exactly what bluebat will be offering.

it was made of vinyl material that he colored, mine being black wasn't that hard to color match. It is just like a car decal for the body or window -- same material and same application process.

I searched high and low or blackouts for the rear lights.... and besides that spray junk there are none made yet -- that i know of ,... but that sticker did make a difference

I'd like the eyelids to be metallic colored, just like the car! On the majestic blue pics, they just look like pieces of fiberglass plastic coloed blue. Not my style...

LOL -- that 'spray junk' for your car makes it look great -- but i don't think that i could get it to come out right -- and i dare not try to experiment with the 32.000 car that is just barly 1.5 mo old.

If ya wanna come over from Big Ole Cali and spray mine --- i would great appreciate it.

 

Its not very hard, just a bit of wet sanding, some spray tint from hobby store, and clear coat. Piece of cake!!!

That guy on ebay used pictues of my overlays for his auctions. Really pissed me off as well as many of my customers who notified me asking if I was selling on ebay because they found pictures of my Overlays on their cars in his auctions. I had to go through ebay to get them removed because he wouldn't do it at my request. BTW, the pics of the Maxima eyelids are his, his kit is slightly different than mine. His are more rounded, mine are sharper at the bend.

I know how you feel. I had brought my rear nissan emblem from a guy on e-bay. I sent him a picture of how it looks on my car. He put it in his ad. I sent him a e-mail to at least give me credit. Long story short. I had to go thru e-bay to get him to remove it. Warren

 

IMO its cool to be featured in an ad for somebody...as long as its the person you bought the stuff from. I wouldnt expect anything in return though.

 

Its nice but all I asked for was to put "Ramberg's Car" on top of picture. I would not ask for money. Later Warren

 

Thing is, the guy never got my permission to use the pics, many of which are in my Gallery! Besides, why didn't he use his own pics if he is making the kits? Gotta make sure they fit, right?

I just got my eye lids in...although its another black Max.

I will be installing these over the weekend and will line up the eye lids better. I just applied some scotch tape on them to hold them down so I can get a visual...

Pal, man, you beat me to them huh!! Third time you've done that, first got the Speed grille a week before, then installed the emblem before, and now the eyelids.... Just for the record, I'm not copying PAL's style on my max, but they do look a lot alike...

its all good wakkus. actually with the color and body kit, it looks like 2 completely different looking cars. you have the lower valence mesh (which I dont) I think the eye lids will complete the look of your ride. Hopefully Batman will get that shade of color.

I'm hoping they go good with the painted engine covers, I just took them off and gave them to the guy thats going to paint them for me.. they should be the same color as the car once he is done..

then I'm going to get the lower grille painted once I have a chance to drop the car off..

is coming along little by little.....

 

2nd day air is VERY expensive here, I'm talking about paying $39 for shipping of the SSE speed grille, and $300 for the bodykit. After paying shipping, I had to pay the 6.6% import tax to DHL. Sucks huh?

 

I'm still on the fence about this. I just read through the whole thread. I go back and forth. I wouldn't mind seeing someone with red opulence before I commit.
