It's not, but the mesh will be stainless steel woven mesh. It can be polished, or can be chrome dipped (not from us though).

If it looks anything like the Altima grill, I am definitely in.

OK I think 04BlackMax has a legit point, If we can buy rear spoilers factory painted to color match, why can't a grill designer get with a local paint shop and do the same. But for me, it doesn't matter if it's molded or metal, painted or chromed, it just needs to look good...

If it does, I would gladly toss my Trenz...

This link explains what they offer for the Altima S2 grill. It says to allow for 2-3 weeks and $75. I hope it's the same for the Max, except for the 2-3 weeks and the price. lol

Wow, that looks Hot, That's the grill they should be putting in RedLineMax new bumper. OK but it's for the Alti, a guess like everything else, we'll have to wait for the Max while they feed the little fish...

I will be posting an update later on tonight on how things went. It's not quite like the Altima grille...

We will offer it pre-painted and unpainted as we do our other grilles. Pricing info is not available yet, but it will be more than the Altima grilles as it costs more to develop and more per part. The mesh we are using is also much more expensive.

More details soon!

That's good. I hope it looks even better than the Altima S2 grill then. Keep us posted.

Alright here's the update I promised

No pics quite yet!

The test fitting did happen on Sunday, and all went well. The grille really does look awesome on the Maxima, I cannot wait to show you guys!

At this stage, it has to go back to fiberglassing to make a couple minor adjustments to the mold in order to perfect the look and fitment.

We could potentially have a final painted part on our test car this upcoming Sunday...but no promises! If all goes well though, and we do have it on by Sunday, pics will definitely be posted.

Hate to do this to you guys, but bad news

It'll be another week until we have anything (Hopefully this time!!)

The new mesh we are using was supposed to arrive Friday so we can use it for the test fitting on Sunday....nothing. For some reason the order was delayed to us and we found out late Friday it hadn't shipped until that day.

On top of that, our painter was not able to get the grille finished in time. So we are now re-scheduled for next Sunday.

I am the only Max in San Angelo, TX (you're thinking where the F@$& is that) with a stock grill. Which isn't saying much, there are about 5 in town.

So the other 4 spent their money to look different, and you're the most unique

You're right about the San Angelo part!

Some good news to report!

We have a painted grille in hand, and the mesh is here (looks so awesome!!!!)!!!

Originally our tester wanted powdercoated black mesh, but that would add another week. He has opted to go for the silver for his black Maxima, which means we are still on for a final fitting and photoshoot on Sunday!

As of right now, pics to be posted by late Sunday night or Monday at latest.

An official name has also been announced. The grille will be the S4 Grille:
