i just ordered the metra dash kit from ebay and was wondering if the opening at the bottom is that same size as the stock one. just wanted to know so i can put the little door on the metra dash kit. anyone know? thanks.

 

you will re-use the stock door. That whole pocket is part of an insert that you remove from the stock piece and screw back onto the new metra kit. It will make total sense to you when you see the part I am talking about.

didnt want to start a new thread but i recieved my metra dash kit today and on the wiring harness it says it is for a 95-2000 max. will this work for 04?
