Traded the max in

Well I went against all your advice and traded in the Max for a new truck. Yes I bought a new Dodge Quad Cab w/ the Hemi. Yea I know what your all goin to say but in return I will be posting my billet grille and Cattman RSB in the F/S forum in the next couple days at decent prices. I'll stop in from time to time since I know I'll miss the max. Take care and thanks for all the help and advice while I was here..

It's a tough decision..

I just posted on my "home site" about possibly selling my Trans Am and picking up a Max, they all have told me not too, but we'll see I guess...

PaL379 yes you can call dibs on the RSB
Smokey04Max yes you can call dibs on the grille. (I lost 2 clips so I need to but them for you.) I will pm you both on that.
I sat and though about my trade and decided yes I love the car but #1 I do not have traction control and the car sucks in the snow imo. #2 The car has been in 3 times for the sunroof hitting the deflector and nissan can't seem to get it right. #3 I still have the dreaded shimmy that nissan can't seem to fix. My car has 24k left on it with multiple problems I will not be able to get fixed since nissan thinks they don't exist. I owed 18k on my car and they gave me 23k for a trade....how the heck can I pass up 5k down and no money out of pocket. Plus the trade in is sick! The local nissan dealer by me has a loaded se w/ sunroof, traction ctrl, and nav with 26k mi on it and it's selling for 25k.....The gas may suck but I think it's more practical for me.....mthly pyt is the same and my ins is only going up $10 a mth. Love the maxima yes, will I miss the features, yes......will I miss the bs problems with 12k left on my warranty? No......

Good luck man. Sweet truck for sure. I'm looking at the Diesel one for my shop. That one or the F350. Either way Dodge makes the best looking truck. And here in MI sadly you'd get more looks from girls in the truck than you would in a Max. Ludicrous I know but MI is retarded anyway. lol!

Good luck man!

yeah i get alot more compliments from the ladies on my truck then i did with the max. they seem to just like the trucks better.

chernmax: gas is the same price for my titan as it was for my maxima. they use about the same over the course of the week. $30-$35, but with the titan i dont need to use premium, regular will work just as good for the truck. (but i still use premium anyways)

I agree. Thinking about trading my Chevy Tahoe for the Ram SRT 10. B@DASS indeed. The absolute best looking truck I've ever seen.

The SRT10 is sick. If I had 50k for a truck that would be it but then it is only 2wd so....how practical would a RWD Viper powered Ram be in the snow?

I'm glad you got rid of the POS. :-)

Dude, check out the oil and lurication forum on gas, you may be wasting extra money with premium if you owners manual says it is not needed. Their is a thread on regular verse premium myths...

Strickly FYI Use it or loose it info... Good luck

they actually gave me 23k. I owed 18k. KBB sais it was only worth 19k. I know KBB is only an estaimate but that's a big difference

you can get those truck for $6 - 7k off from msrp and $2.5 - 3k from invoice.
if its msrp says $31k, then you can get it for $24k.

you got a good deal anyways since they paid you $23k for your max.

have fun with hemi!!
