just got back from the dyno.

this run here was in third gear. i wasn't to happy with the results so i had them do it in fourth as well. and here are the results from that run.

not really happy about this run either but it was also 95 freakin degree's when we did it and like 45% humidity. so maybe that affected performance. i hope. ENJOY

I believe that 4th gear is the right one (closest to 1.0).

Don't they have the ability to correct for ambient conditions?

As far as the results go...yes, with all of your "upgrades" that does seem a bit on the low side.

HOLD ON....just saw those wheels...that might explain some of it.

Your a/f is extremely rich in the higher RPMs, get your car to sr20den and im sure your numbers will be a lot higher.

I was going to put nitrous in my car but heard more bad stories than good ones. One thing I heard is that you shouldn't put more that a 50 shot in our cars. Think about it first. Warren

The SAFC2 is a good choice but don't forget that the Emanage Ultimate is a better choice.

I also see that your dyno runs do not go to 6600.

However the 221whp looks pretty good.

yea i guess he did stop a little short huh.
how much is the emanage ultimate running. im thinking im going to get the safcII for now and when they fix the whole rev limiter issue then probably switch.
what should my AFR be set at for best results?

The best results are between 13.0 to 14.0 with 13.5 being a happy medium.

I think the EU is going to about $500 and the harness is about $100.

Top Right Corner

CF: SAE Smoothing = 5

CF= Correction Factor
Smoothing = level of algorithm used to smooth out dips in the graph

With that being said, yes they are.

Wow that price is better then what I thought that would cost. Does it have better tuning capabilities than the safcII? Can it control timing? Thanks

My question is, " Do all 6th gen max's run rich at higher rpms?" I thought since our computers are OB II that the car resyncs itself with the mods to recompensate the air/fuel levels to standard spec

Anyone with an answer

Also with an e-manage system, will it work even greater if you have the timing 2 degrees higher?

All cars are different ... PERIOD, meaning each car needs its own specific tune, especially A/F.

My car was rich, and leaned out with the mods I've added.

I was wondering this as well. I was browsing the altima forums and I noticed that someone mentioned this about the manual trans. but said it didnt apply to the autos. do they have this same problem?

i really cant answer that question yet. i havent tuned it yet. it is cool to look at but that alone isnt worth 400+ $. so i better see some freakin gains. plus i'm about to dump another 120 for an hour of tuning on the dynojet. i'll have more on this question when you drive back up here.

Its definately a better bang for your buck than the sp2 system is. That is, if your a/f is wack. Either way you should be able to get some gains from tuning.

Wait, are you saying that you paid $400 for a Apexi SAFC-2 ? Or was that with installation?
