jsmith...nice bumper! I would love to get it but, I scrape on the driveway as it is now. Do you know if Redline is thinking of redesigning the bumper so that it's not so low?

I am not a big fan of that(dont be mad its just my opignion) but I am wondering how the lower part of the bumper, like the little chin spoiler would look on a stock front bumper.

As far as I know this will be the final design. I've had a few minor scrapes, but I'm getting used to driving it now and know how to angle the car for driveways, and what driveways to avoid all together...
I'll be interested to see how low it is with 1) Eibachs 2) stock.
My car is pretty low as it can get with the coilovers...

Hey, everybody is entitled to their own opinion!!! If it's not for you, it's not for you.
And to answer your question, it would probably look pretty good with just that part added.

Wow, what a shame to drill holes in that pretty bumper!! You could easily hang the plate in the lower opening, not sure of the "laws" for each state, but it seems like it would work without compromising the look of the bumper.

As for the grill, no pics yet but it is being worked on for sure...you'll have to wait for word from the RedlineMax guys on that one.

Front plates are ghey... Im not sure if this is true but I heard if you keep the fron plate in the car the cops will cut you a break if you show it to them...I got a ticket for speeding and the officer didnt even ask for it so maybe if they are being over zealous you might have trouble

I really like that guys idea about having just that lower lip part. It would be better on the wallet and looks like it would compliment the oem bumper well. Also wouldnt be as low which is why I probably wont get the redline bumper.

well...so is there a liscence playe holder or not ?? i am not willing to be getting a tickect every day, specially going in and out of the base every day...no break here... it is enough to drive around with the stress of any driveway or parking entrance to mess up your new bumper to add stress for not having the mandated front plate...

you guys do realize that little to no body kit manufacturers ever include liscence plate frames or integrate a plate holder into the front fascia...so i don't really see what all the concern is about cars bodykits and no front plate IS NOT a new thing. if its that much of a concern though, a trip to home depot for some "L-brackets" along with some craetivity will work wonders.

some people get all bent outta shape.
follow these complex instructions to make your bodykit legal:
install the necessary mesh for lower grille, attach plate to mesh

or,option 2:

you could do exactly how Nissan has you do the OEM bumper, drill 2 holes

you do know the car did not come out of the factory with holes right? In NY I'm sure the dealers drill them since it's required. I have no holes, just 2 dimples and a frame unattached

danm ...why all the hostility ?? i was just asking to see if there was the option...i know we all can come up we something to hold the liscence plate in place... i mean we change the leds in our screens and install playstations to the navigation screens...yeah we can fit the plate somehwere in the bumper if we ( I ) need to...but i was just asking to see if there was the option to get he bumper with the place for it already...one mod (change the bumper ) and thats it...not change bumper, make grill, make plate holder ..... thank you though...hey post pic of your install soon so i get the idea man.... jajaja

luigi,
all you do is measure where your current holes are. drill exactly the same spots on the new one. I have no holes on my oem bumper, not required here.

(turn your monitor upside-down and look at my sig.)

if you ask nicely, it may be possible for RedlineMax to sent it with 2 holes, or just ask your painter.

Im going to look for a bodyshop to get an install and paint estimate tomorrow. But I would like to see it from a side view if there are any pics of it just so I can get an idea of how low it is. Also does anyone have any cool sites for ordering parts like chrome door handles for 6th gen and other cosmetic goodies?

Here's the best pic I've got of the side: (not sure if you're lowered but I am on coilovers so it's pretty low, no gap!)
