Howdy. How much did you all pay for your maxima?
A friend of mine got his couple days ago and he paid 24,800 out the door.
I haven't seen the car in person yet, but I believe it's a barebone SE.
So basically he got 800 under invoice plus the 1500 rebate.
Did we do good?

That's a pretty good price, I paid 26,500 for my 05 SL (With DPP, Sunroof, VDC, Mats, and Mudflaps) two and a half weeks ago. Of course that was before tax and tags.

I guessing that he got an '05 because of the $1500 rebate he mentioned.

What I paid

I paid 24K for my SE in Feb 04. Barebone with sunroof.

Interesting is what Kelly says for it now:

Trade to dealer $18,850
Private Party $21,965
Retail $24,870

Thus, if to dealer on trade I have lost 21% of value in 19 months. Not bad and definately a good reason to negotiate your hardest when buying. It would have been a 35% drop if I paid the 29K list price.

I bought my SE 3 weeks ago with power sunroof, mats, driver preferred package, satellite radio, and splash guards for 28,400 almost 5k of MSRP. They also gave me $500 more for my old car than I wanted so I was very happy. Best deal of my life and I'm not a youngster

I just got an 04 SE with 15K miles on with with custom leather interior, Billet Grill, some kind of aftermarket exhaust, aftermarket air intake that I have yet to identify (not K&N), maybe more. I paid $21,700.

Paid around 31K for mine NEW with 1.9 miles on it back in Late September 2003 (no trade in/no rebates because the cars were so new and in demand Nissan did not have to offer any incentives to buy), mine is fully loaded with EVERYTHING including DVD Nav, but not SHIMMY or elite package which I never wanted anyway because you loose a back seat space for an additional person. Absolutely no regrets and still happy as F%uck...

PS, still only 19K miles on it...

When you get past 15 post, you will be able to post pictures and I am more than confident, Org members will tell you the type/brand of every aftermarket part you have on it good or bad, were silly like that...

Yeah, I kind of figured that. I got under the car today and confirmed my suspicion that the exhaust is flowmaster.

At least its a Max and not a Hyundai or Buick. Good job on the acquisition.
