Paid at last

Well guys finally paid off both my 04 Max and 03 Xterra. Wife wanted to trade in the Max but I said no way. So we are going to trade in the Xterra and I think I was able to talk her into buying a Dodge Charger SRT8.

another one?? so wait, as soon as you paid them off, you had to trade one right away?????

see Tek, some just have $$ to blow.

i'm on the 5 year plan (3.5 to go) and then the "this car is all mine until I can't afford to keep it running" plan which better be 20+ years

My goal is to keep the car long enough so I invested 1000 a year average.
Others: 6000 a year????

I always wanted a true v8 muscle car, preferably a Corvette but not only can I not afford it but it is impractical with two kids. So now I have a chance to get a V8. Narrowed it down to either the Charger SRT8. Pontiac GTO or wait for the Cobra to come out.

Another Equity builder payoff im assuming? With these gas prices you think a V8 is still worth it?

Does a great job of turning a 5 year loan into a 20 year loan, at least their may be tax advantages attached???

You're doing the right thing-bottom line, whatever makes you happy plus you're still keeping the Max.Best of both worlds.

LOL, forget the tax help a loan going from lets say $25,000 turns into a $68,000 in 20 years

Trust me I know, 2.8 years left on mine, that is assuming I don't get bored and trade it for something else...

Congrats man! Great feeling isn't it? I just got mine paid off too. Took me 9 months but now I finally feel like the car is actually mine. I would say go for what makes you happy if you can afford it then why not? When I was young I had so many v8 cars, to me it doesn't make much difference anymore as the Max has plenty of horsepower for me. Funny too because my 2005 SE has much more than my 1984 Trans Am had which was only 154bhp.
