Mod Day :)

No pictures, because it's been raining all day.

I got the CE y-pipe, UR UDP and Berk intake installed this week (most of it today). So far I have to say the car sounds nicer, but I can't say that it actually "feels" any different. I think a lot of people have an overactive imagination, or overly sensitive butt dyno when they go get these things installed...

Still, it's certainly a nice sound coming from the car now... but it got me thinking that messing with the exhaust will definitely make the car too loud for me. I think WOT on the highway (when passing, merging, etc) it makes just a bit too much noise now, but who knows... maybe I'll get used to it and decide to move forward with it...

Pictures tomorrow... if it ever stops raining. Not much to see that hasn't been shown though... if nothing else the drilled rotors are the nicest...

Did you disconnect your battery which arguably resets the ECU? Although its not confirmed as to whether or not it works, I always do this after each mod, just in case.

Takes a bit

I found that it took about a week before it all kicked into the computer and actually makes a really noticable difference.. might be different for other ?

Depending on how much and how far you drive, 3-5 days has been the norm for the ECU to re-calibrate.

Dont wait 3-4 days, disconect the battery for around 30 min, turn the key on to drain system and start fresh. The ECU will take note and you should feel the difference then... Clean her up and share some pics..!

This is also a GREAT time to clean ur battery terminals. I use baking soda, a brush and water. Baking soda neutralizes the battery acid and makes that yucky looking battery look like new.
