Question about my 06 maxima.

I have no idea what happend to my other topic but i will repost and add something.

1) I hear a rattle sound comming from the back when the bass kicks in from the subs. any idea what that is?

2) Is there anyway to show a number or hear a number/name on the lcd when someone calls me? ( i have a blue tooth phone and system) and the phone is an E815

3) How can i get the phone with the line cross, message letter, roam,AD, and signal bars on the lcd?

That

4) how should i wash the car?

5) is there anything i should know or do?

Thanks
SuperNet33

Welcome to the forum. I'll try to take your questions in order.

1. The rattle could possibly be the 3rd brake light. I'd take it to the dealer and let them find the exact cause. Taking the rear deck apart isn't fun.

2. and 3. From what I understand, there isn't a way to do this because the bluetooth functions do not do enough to integrate the phone into the car for those functions to work.

4. Invest in some microfiber towels and some quality carwash solution such as Meguiars. Washing by hand is the best way to go. Automatic carwashes don't do a good enough job and can damage your finish. If you cannot was by hand, go to one of those self-serve carwashes but don't use the brush.

5. Just read through the forums and you'll find plenty of information.

wash

was the car with caranuba wash beads, miguares, mothers, Eagle, most of the manufacturers have thease product. But there is a huge thread about washing in the detailing section of the org.

cant help you with any bluetooth functions cause most of us dont have that on our 2004-2005 maximas.

I know thought that my phones that display the data on external devices do have Bluetooth v1.2 on them. V1.1 bluetooth was a little more limited in speed and function.

Good Luck,

Kam

Thanks for the replys..

My phone is in the Compatible list, as said i have the E815 , i also have the v3 razr and both do NOT work.
The blue tooth lets me dail fine and pick up, but as for showing those icons or saying the name or # it dosn't i wish someone knew.
I called nissan but they never called me back..

I think we should find out, how to do those things. any one with me?

Thanks for the car washing tips also..

and i did look threw the fourms and couldn't find anything other then upgradeing mods that are not eazy..

Like said above not alot of info on the blue tooth yet because 99% of us in here dont have the 06, thus no blue tooth. Your best shot would probably be reading your owners manual or just asking your dealer.

Washing your max like said above should def be done by hand in my opinion, and if i were you i would put a good quality wax on it since you have no chips or scratches yet, plus winter is coming. I use Maguiers Gold class clear coat safe liqued wax, and touch up with the quick wax spray.

Good luck, and mods arent made to be easy, but the instructions in the stickys and threads are pretty clear to really help you out even for the non pros like myself.

Dealer knows NOTHING.

don't see what? i didn't say there was an answer, or i would have given it to u. my point was that BT was already being discussed there.

so they say the info should display? those symbols are possibly used in Infinitis and may not have been used in the Max.
