About Halogen 2 oem HID Setup

HEy guys, i just bought from another member here a set of Stock OEM Xenon Headlights and i need some advice. I have the stock OEN Halogen and i am going to put in the Xenon in its place. Has anyone else here, done this? I have been told it is just take the Halo out and put the Xenon in its place. Is there any other wiring that needs to be done> Or is it just plug and play like he told me.. Thanks

NismoMAX, maybe we got off on the wrong footing here, but let me explain.

The information i am asking for is not posted in the Sticky's. (I did read alot of them, like i said i read almost every post, but i might have missed one.) It all talks about CONVERSIONS from HIR's to HID's using a KIT. I have the Stock HIR's and I bought 2 HID OEM HEADLIGHTS, the WHOLE assymbly, not a kit. IT has everything i need. The question i asked was is it truely Plug and Play, like just unhooking my OEM HIR's and Plugging the HID's right into the stock wiring that was used on the HIR's... Now if i have missed the actual post that was posted on the Sticky's please inform me. Please stop informing me to read something i have already read (a couple of times). I work nights and i am on here A LOT, about 10-12 hrs using the computer.

So if you could PLEASE, or someone else here answer the qiuestion i asked i would be greatful. NO HARD FEELING, NISMOMAX. I am just trying to get my questions answered. If i have missed something then its my bad.

Thanks.

thanks for the answer... I am just making sure there is no splicing of wires or any grounding i have to do, before i tear these babies up.. I am planning on painting the interior, and they have a great tutorial here.. Thanks again, for the response.

i thought the answer was in there or linked. last i observed the progress, it was left uncertain if direct bulb and ballast replacement only was possible. So I could not give a solid answer. I recall someone recently saying it was, but remember the beam shutter being different materials.

Hence I left this thread open for you to post your findings and request more info

about to see if this helps you, but notice you already posted in it:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hid+conversion

was not that thread directly related to this one
