what is needed to do a tranny swap

Hi everyone. I have posted before because I was having problems with my 6spd in my 04se. Well the problem has still gone unresolved. So I was thinking about switching it over to an automatic transmission. What all would I need to do this and could I get used parts to do it?

thanks

You would need someone that is really nuts to try and do that for you. It would be easier to sell your car and buy an automatic. Just my $0.00000000000000000000000000002.

I thought that I was going to get answer like that, maybe I should just try replacing all the parts in there now. It is just so annoying and it needs to be fixed as much as I drive my car.

Find out what's wrong with it.. What are the symptoms?

On these newer models, transmisison conversions are a ginormous job mostly due to electronc control modules.

I have posted before and other people have had the same problem. The clutch gets stuck to the floor but it will engage and disengage. But makes for a jerky ride. The more city driving you do the more likely it is to happen. I have even come out to it in the morning being like that.

It isn't just a problem with the slave cylinder?
