contact UMNITZA. I paid $260 shipped for ProLumen Micro H3 (6000k) setup w/lifetime warranty. You'll need to buy the Micro H3, and not the regular H3 HIDs because it'll burn the h3 housing due to its size. But man, it's a pain in the a$$! You have to remove the bumper and the headlights.

I sure miss my 4th gen where you can just replace the bulb and have enough space for the igniter and ballasts WITHOUT having to take off the front bumper.

My advice: Just buy a set of 4300k H3 bulbs from ebay (or around 4300k temp), not the HIDS.. it's just the color that you want. Trust me. I just don't have the time to install my setup..The h3 bulbs will only cost you under $25, where the HID setup will cost you $260!

btw, anyone wanna buy my setup? I have 6000k D2S bulbs and 6000k Micro H3 setup. If I can, I rather get rid of it. They are brand new, never installed..

On a side note, after swapping out a burnt H3 bulb yesterday, I'm now fully convinced that Nissan set that **** up so they could rip people off in labor costs at the dealership.

On the driver's side, if you have the stock airbox then you have to remove a ton of **** to get to the bulb. If you have an aftermarket setup, the clearance is so tight that it's still hard as hell.

On the passenger side you have to be 11 years old or your hands are just too damn big to get in there. And even if you can get around without removing the coolant reservoir, you still need to be a damn contontionist to be able to move your hands around enough to put that bulb back in there.

There's no damn reason for that crap to be that difficult...

GREEN GREEN go the phone

so i PINK it up and say

"yellow"

(REFERENCE TO ABOVE) An immigration official asked a man to use the words Green, Pink and Yellow in a sentence. The above mentioned phrase was the result. I shat u not.

Anywhoo, about my fogs, will the h3 non micro burn through my housing?

no, but don't take my word for it. I've compared both the non-micro and the micro and the micro definetely provides more space in the housing.

Ok.... I have the 6000K D2S or D2C bulbs to put in, and the 6000K H3 Micro Set-Up... I have already purchased and they have arrived already for install... Thing is, has anyone here actually put in the Micros, and how did you mount the igniters, and the ballasts?

Please i need to know how to do this correctly... Pics would be great, but probably wont happen...

Thanks...

My setup is sitting in my living room and it's been there for a while. You need to mount the igniters and the ballasts in the front bumper. You'll need to remove the bumper to get to the headlights. Good luck. i might do mines today..

minsbang... did you have to connect any wires or was it plug and play to the stock set-up? I have never seen my lights off to see the connections up close.. I really dont want to get my front bumper off, and see that i have to do a bunch of re-wiring.. I have the Helios Kit, and it looks liek all i have to do is plug them up... I do think i have a new fuse to put in as well... Thanks for the update with your system.. I dont think our systems are much different.. LAter

the stock h3 bulb has one black wire. you'll see the red wire planted on the housing. The ProLumens have two wires, black & red. Black was a plug in, but you gotta wire up the red wire. You simply strip it, cut it, connect it to the tip. the Black X marks where I cut it, then strip it.

kam, from what i have read from otehr threads, to use a non-micro HID type in the stock housing will cause it to melt the housing.. They are longer if i remember correctly. They recomend to get only the stock H3 lights, or only the Micro..

minsbang.. you said that you cannot close the H3 backing becasue of the wires?? I thnk this might cause problems??? Please let me know.. Thanks..

it will not melt a metallic and glass housing, that's just nonsense that someone said and others repeat.

The real reason for the micro is that the medium and full length bulbs hit the shield. A single minor bend of the screw driver on the shield relieves this, but hey, who wants to do work
