New ActiveTuning S4 Grille Pics (Smoke/Powdercoated Mesh)

I just got these pics from one of our customers, and thought it looked great with this combo. The grille is available here:

http://www.activetuning.com/products...NI-MX-04S4GRIL

FYI - we do have a pre-painted black one in stock and ready to ship this week....instead of the 3-4 week wait for a painted grille.

Thanks

It comes with your choice of mesh. We offer either oval or diamond hole, and either powdercoated or natural aluminum mesh.

Very nice. I always have liked the AT grill. I will probably have to replace mine grill after this winters mag chloride and sand pounding. The AT grill is definitely a contender. The color combo in the pic came out great.

I think it would look even better without that "tooth" in the middle.

YO!!! Please tell me they are coming out with that s2 for the MAX 6Gen's... Let us know anything you hear for sure, i am going to email them to get some info.. Thanks for the heads up.. I was really considering this grill posted above, but it looks a bit off with the stock bumper.. I as well would love to see what it looks like on a 6Gen with the redlinemax front bumper... I dont have alot of time lately to do it myself in Photoshop. I am really good at it, but dont have the time..... School is a bioutch....

That looks great, I know you P/S the charcol grill, so I am betting a black one with powdercoated mesh would look hot in a Red Opulence RedLineMax bumper. My wheels are just spinning right now...

Actually, The way this pic looks I think a chromed version would look good. I know many here aren't into chrome but I think it would look nice with the black powder coated diamond mesh and I would even put the burger back on in the black center piece, the burger would look like its floating in the air.

The S5 is the same style, but for the 2005+ Altima which has a differently shaped grille

Ida know...to me, it makes the car look like a Pontiac Grand Am, or at least more like a Buick than a BMW. Not for me, but as they say, each to their own.

S5/S2 grille with a "maxima" insert in the lower right corner would be sweet...

You need some king of oil cooler in that lower space on the bumper...

How bout a photoshop of this idea: remove the two posts of the tooth, Leave the top of the tooth raised, the bottom of the tooth should end in a slope downward following the slope of the hood.

Do you guy's like that image?

The problem i am having with the s4 is that it sits too far back... Now if it conformed to the bumper and moved forward, i think it would be a winner... If you look at it, it looks too far back, and doesnt match up to well.. Looks good with the stock hood, but i think if it was thicker, and moved forward it would line up much better... If i had the time i would have a few versions of photoshopped ones completed.. Looks like i need to get crackin....

I don't think it sits too far back at all. I just adjusted mine so it's almost flush it looks good IMO. and i've gotten many compliments.

You can see in the pic, since the posts extrude and match the hood-line....if you move the bottom of the grille forward, the posts will extend out even further and not look flush anymore. I think seeing it in person makes it more obvious of this.

Ill have to photoshop it to explain better... ill try sometime next week... Even if it doesnt have the "raised" part and it was all flush, with the same design, i think it would look better. Conform fully with the inner part of the bumper. Understand? The "raised" part could still stick out, but be like 1mm or 1cm raised to have that profile.. Like the S2, but WITH the middle part... LAter...

I think that grill would match up nicely with the one that's on the 2005 Pathfinder LE that I just bought my wife.

Is Chrome an option?
