I have this problem with the Air Vents. The problem occurs when I set the air to come out to the face, it goes out to the feet. And, when I want it to go out from the defroster, it comes out of the feet and face. So, I took it to the dealership and the found out that the actuator is broken. They then told me that there was "red grease" on the actuator and that they do not use that in their shop. I told him that I had no idea where that grease came from, but he said its not a problem because the actuator is broken. So that settles it, the parts are ordered and now I wait for them to arrive.

Just curious.. has anyone else had this problem?

I have read other members having heat problems and such, I dunno if that is the same prob..

 

Tell him to use the grease on his girl and fix your car. These dealers are really getting worse and worse. Or tell him your car was on its cycle. Lol
