Weathertech Weatherflectors for 6thGen

Weathertech Weatherflectors for 6thGen, has anyone installed these? They're the ones that go in the window channel instead of the stick on ones.

Not sure if anyone else is intestered, but there is a group deal on the Weathertech Weatherflectors deflectors. This time they do have the 6thGen ones.

I'm interested. How much? Yeah and I would rather have the one that goes into the window channel as opposed to sticking to the exterior of the door.

Thanks!

I have a set on my 05. The fronts are hard to put on. The Max has excellent seals around the windows. The guards go into the seal between the metal and the rubber. If you put it in the wrong seal they will fall off. They are installed right if the guard does not move or make a noise when you let the window up or down.

If anyone is interested, we only need 3 more people for the Group Purchase to go through. Group Purchase Link It's a good deal.

These things are excellent quality a look really good unlike the ones that stick on w/double sided tape.

After getting these in, all I'll need is the sunroof one. Hopefully we can get 3 more people to buy these so they can hurry up and ship out.

$85 from the group buy, the link is already on this thread, post #4.

BTW - Start threads that have already been started and ask questions that have already been answered will get you banned. They're pretty strict about those type things around here. FYI....

Did you order through weathertech or from Paradox (the group deal)? Didn't see your post in the groupbuy thread.

15 posts is to keep the spamers out.
You have to donating member to use the search fuction.
Thats why 3 of your threads were closed. those questions have already be asked. go to the 6th gen forum and go page my page to find the answers to your questions or donate to use the search fuction.

If you think it sucks, why are you here?

No matter what you do in life there will always be some type of rules to follow.

I am surprised you have not be banned in your short time here.

Got mine in yesterday, opened the box today and went down to install these bad boys, and I as I was putting on the driver side I noticed that they looked like they came broken or just cut wrong. Seems like the end that goes closest to the mirror is missing the plastic part that goes into the window canal. The odd part is that both of them look to be "cut" the same. So I went ahead and installed the drivers side, since both sides looked the same, and it installed fine. So as I'm sitting in the car rolling the window up and down to get it to sit in properly, I notice that I can see through the part closest to the mirror (where the plastic seems to be missing). Is this how its suppose to be? Is this just a 6thGen cut? I know a few of you guys also have these. Would appreciate your help. Thanks

do the weathertechs stick inside the window, or the outside.

outside are pretty ugly IMO.

I have an update for the issue concerning the cut for the front visors. The pictures shown by Icrod is how these are manufactured for the maxima. I am not sure who told you they were miscut but they are not. I have been speaking with a rep. from MacNeil (weathertech) who was kind enough to provide me pictures of both the light and dark tinted visors. Where each was the same. They were parts: 70336 and 80336.

Comments from our email correspondance: "The indentation of the product in the area that you describe is completely normal. Each 2005 Nissan Maxima side window deflector is designed in this way to avoid a protruding section of the door frame that is hidden from view, but not our engineers. This may be a protruding part associated with your mirror. I am not sure exactly the reason our engineers did this, but this is perfectly normal and occurs with your Maxima and other models.

Part 80336: Dark Visor

Part 70336: Light visor
*these are little harder to see the part that sits in the channel but use the white stickers to help with reference.
