Help With Maintanance settings on Computer
when you press the button, oil change and tire rotation does not go on
i have no clue how, but if i press it once in a while, it will go on, but then shuts off. i tried resetting it as well, and cannot. for example. my oil change was set at 7500 miles. once it hit that, the computer blinks, so i move the **** to the left to set it at 0, then i hold the maintanance button to try to reset it, nothing happens. any one have such an experience

It sounds like you are doing the opposite of what you want to do. If you want the log to stop nagging you, then you don't want to set it to zero or else it will nag you all the time. Instead of changing the interval to zero, just reset it.

like i said (and stated in the manual) you must be in PARK. once you select oil or rotation, brackets will flash around your interval. go left or right to change. yes, bottom is how many miles since you last reset them.

I fought with this for a while on mine. I finally figured out that the bottom number is the running total of miles before the next service. The top number is when you want the warning to alert you of the maintenance.
So if you want the system to warn you in 7500 miles that it is time to change your oil, set the top number to 7500 and make sure you have cleared the bottom number. The system will then track your miles driven and warn you when you get to the preset interval.
It functions independently of the odometer. Hope this helps.
