I will be getting my springs and RSB installed soon and this brings up a good question......

If the shop installs your RSB backwards, how would you know?? Just because it rides bad, is there any other way to tell?

I want to make sure its done right the first time, so do I just tell the installer to make sure its not backwards??

Make sure the bar and your suspension damaged. If it's in backward, it would ride on the control arms.

yes they would. I wanna see a comparison pic. In others it appears the progress sit lower in the front, if thats the case then I might just go that route instead of the Teins.

I just picked up the car..... WoW!!!! so much better than the Eibach's, they are nice and stiff without being harsh... and the RSB!!!! is amazing.. This is a must do combo.... They had my car parked right next to a 04 Max with 19's and Eibachs mine was just as low. Pics are coming very soon!!!

ok this may seem very trivial to some but where can one get these springs and rsb? What is the cost of them compared to others out there? Which springs are gonna give the best ride meaning not as harsh I hate that bouncing feeling.

How about you go back and ask that owner if he is on SFMG?

Hahahah

www.watsonsglen.com/Kam/Maxima/loweringkit

ENJOY!!!

Who has got allignment done on their car afterwards? Even tought the car drives straight after the allignment the steering wheel seems crooked to me, its only a .5 degree or so, but when i straighten the steerign wheel it goes left, mostly highway.

In city if i straighten the wheel its not as noticable.

I had the alignment checked after installed. It didn't need any adjustment. Enjoy is right.

If you want to adjust camber, you need camber kit. I know the front isn't adjustable, but I read that the rear could be. W/ hard driving, won't you want a slightly negative cambers?

My camber was checked after installing the springs and I believe it is now 1-1.5 degrees negative which is very good for street driving.

yah but ur tires will wear unevenly if the camber is not adjusted correctly
i had a 95 maxima before the 2004 and when i lowere that one i was told the same thing about u want it to be slightly negative but the tires wore out on the inside fairly quickly then i did a camber adjustment and the car was fine after that for the almost 40000 miles i drove it before getting the 04

Well typically, if u make mods like this, you're going to be engaging in some high performance driving, which increases wear on the outside. As u drive regularly, it increases wear on the inside, which balances it out. I dont think 1 deg negative is going to wear out tires that much, and in fact, may even be within OEM tolerances.
