hey guys,

my screen for the navi doesn't come on when i start it up in the morning, but after about 10mins (i timed it) it just suddenly come on just like THAT.
and this would happen every morning or when i let it sit for a couple hours.

so my question is, does anyone know or have had this happen. my dealer is stunned and said this has never happened to any other cars with the colour screen. i just don't want them to give a crazy answer when i take it in again for the second time.

i would take it to the dealer and ask them to fix the problem since your car is still under warranty.

 

They should test the relay continuity of the circut. If the screen is taking so long to turn on, my guess is that the relay signal to the screen is not being powered up when it should be.

It's either that OR the screen.

Knowing the idiots @ the stealership, they will likley push for you to change your screen...so if it's still happening you can slp them with the old "told you so"
