VQ35 MAF and TB should be the same diameter, so that would be 70 mm.

I would not use that theory as a mustang tb is 65mm and the MAF is 80mm.....

I am still waiting for the car to be delivered so I can't go and check. My friend builds CAI's for a lot of domestics out of plastic and I want him to build one for the maxima so while I am waiting for the car I wanted to know the diameter to see if he has the parts to make one.

Besides the cai, I think the mounting plate re: the MAF bolt pattern will be the biggest hurdle.

I have an Injen on the way but what got me thinking is that there is a 04 MAF on Ebay and when I looked at the pics it resmebles a Ford type MAF which I/he is used to and he said as long as we can determine the diameter he can make something. I may have him use the Injen as a mock up and then send it back as I would rather have a plastic CAI vice metal with regard to heat soak.
