Module in center stack of stereo

I am trying to figure out what the small module in the center stack is. The part number on it is 3yg06791. It came with the 04 center stack I bought for the bose. My 05 SE doesnt have this module.

it's located behind the radio faceplate. Above the stereo. There are white modules screwed into the metal frame. Mine has one white module the 04 center stack has the same module as mine but another small white one.
