New Intake for our Maximas

www.f5air.com

Fujita Air is now making cold air intakes for our Maxes. I dont know how much they are running for, but we now have another option for cold air intakes, if no one wants AEM or Injen.

I did a google and found a site that had em for $305. But the same model # also applied to the altima. So maybe they just added the max to the list of applications and didn't make a new one just for us.

Way too much for an intake ... I'll pay 304$ less and get better gains.

Looks exactly like the Injen CAI. Same mounting bracket, same rubber shock mount.

Holy Crap! That sounds like entirely too much for an intake considering the ROI isn't much. It is a nice lookin' intake though...i'll give 'em that.

Intake Sound

When I had a 95 maxima, I added a cone intake and the sound was great, I loved it. It sounded like a very deep growling sound which is what I want to hear, however the gas mileage dropped and I even think my horse power decreased. I am interested in one for my 2004 maxima now, I am just wondering what you guys think of them. What is the sound , gas mileage, and power increase or decrease like with them? I'd like to hear some opinions before I dump a few hundred on an intake! Thanks everyone

I had a Berk intake on my 6th gen and loved it as well. I noticed a very slight acceleration response improvement and the sound it made was a nice growl AND it cost a third of what this intake does.

Except for possibly the rear anti sway bar from cattman, I have read a lot of good things about it.
