I got my HPMs on ebay after talking to Don about them. They have a few different models. Positive was $36 and negative was $20.

Looks like some pointless bling to me, but bling is cool, and will get you extra points at a show.

Pointless No, my sponsor puts good money into my ride and is getting ready to put a lot more because of the bling. Your right about the extra points at the show though. It's also cool at the many shows mixin it up with people to talk about the different mods, no one is taking pictures of dirty engine bays and putting it in their advertisement or mags... Consider it my hobby.

I agree with the pointless statement... Bling factor of 10, and good for a virtual +10 hp at the wheels.

For the everyday Maxima driver this serves no purpose... Can't think of two many times I need to jump out of the car, pop the hood and check the voltage meter. Even on a Red Top - a industry rated battery with a lifetime warrantee, that take charges better then most batteries on the market today.

Though for some, who’s ambition is life is to get published then kewl…

Sorry… I’m in a bad mood today.

I am an everyday Maxima driver and it's a hobby I can afford to do. When you look at the many fly rides in mags, web sites, shows, TV specials, etc. People want to be entertained and see something different, unique.

A battery volt meter is as useful as LEDS, no added value, but they look good...

Sorry it's not your thing, but if I want to see stock rides, I'll go to a dealership...

Don't be sorry, your entitled to your opinion whether we give a **** or not...

Battery help

I just purchased an 04 max SL, private sale. Attached to the positive terminal on the battery, theres a fuse attached at both ends to both wires attached to the battery. Just wondering is that a OEM part and would any of you know what purpose that fuse my serve. I have replaced the fuse about 3 times because it continually burns out (30 amp fuse). If anyone can provide guidance on this i would greatly appreciate it. I dont want to carry around a box of fuses all the time..lol

Thanks in advance! I'll post pics if my description wasnt helpful
