I saw the small rear roof spoiler on the new STi at the LA auto show last month. I like it a lot, but wanted to know what u guys think of it on our ride.

In the first pic, look at hte upper right hand pic.

In teh second pic, its the small spoiler on the roof, NOT the big spoiler on the trunk.

I know most Maxima owners are more conservative, so it may appear ricey. With this in mind, tell me ur opinion.

Not sure it will fit looks-wise. The Max has a rounded kind of feel and the WRX is boxier. The ends where the spoiler attach look kind of squared off. I like the idea though...

I could see a " fin " type extension fitting the 6th gen but I wouldn't like the look of a spoiler on the rear of the roof at all.

It might look ok if there's no tail spoiler, but like the Subaru Wagons with the fin coming off the roof, the tail would have to be angled down and rounded to some extent to look sporty imo.

I could see the younger crowd liking it, but that's about it.

Agreed. It doesn't really appeal to me, i'd rather see an extension more then another spoiler. But you never really know till someone tries it. I remember when you wanted the spoiler and I didn't like the idea, but now it has grown on me.

I think it will take away from the stream line aspect from the roof down to the trunk.

If it sits flush, should look good. Your ride, your choice. I will admit, I even pulled off my rain guards because I don't smoke anymore and wanted to stay with the cleaner lines of the car...

I would have to say pass on the wing thing. It doesn't fit the look of the Max. Not to mention what purpuse would that serve?

Yeah that one looks odd to me, I just ordered the window spoiler for my max though.

I agree with most of the other posts but not only from an asthetics point with the look of our cars arent you scared to start drilling into your "C" pillars only to find out that in three months you dont like it no more now its bodyshop time but i do like the idea but go with a window spoiler like the sarona or something similar best of luck on your decision

I would buy an Evo or STi but with my big kids, its not practical. It seems that everyone is against the idea, and I value everyone's opinions, good or bad. I would prefer a smoother looking spoiler for the roof. This one did catch my attention though.

I just checked out the STi spoiler at teh dealer and it may fit. Im gonna check out a dealer nearby who claims they have it in stock and see if i can get it to work. Check out this spoiler in person. It looks really neat i think, although I know it isnt gonna be for everyone.
