You gotta black out the teeth next. But leave the hamburger chrome.

Did you have any problems getting paint to stick, or did you scuff it up first?

Hey

If i send you my lights, could you get this done for me? Without breaking any tabs or anything? And how much do you want for the service and the pro paint job. I just want it done and I dont trust my self to do it.

Thanks,

Kam

I could've sworn that I saw the same type of headlights on a white 6h gen max just the other day in the san francisco area next to SFSU. I thought it was Ghost =, but his profile says he lives in Texas.

Well guys I am in the process of doing this mod now. My wife was looking at me like I had three heads when I put the light in the oven. I am using my old halogen lights as a test run to see if I like it also to make sure I don't mess it up. I think I would cry if I screwed up my HIDs. Any way I am doing them in Red Opulance to match my car. I just finsihed putting the first 2 coats on. I will post the first few pix tomorrow afternoon. Wish me luck.

WOW!!! Thanks guys.. Sorry i have been busy with school and havent had time to check the forums... Thanks for all the props.. LOL.. Some where quite funny... As for MY WHEEL GAP, soon, my friends, soon, itll not be a prob.. I just ordered my Progress Springs and RSB from the Group Buy from AuToMaX_95... I will be getting them a day after V-Day.. I ordered a Vermont Teddy Bear for my wife... Yeah im a softy..lol.. I just get to buy something for me too... Best time to shop guys. Buy her something BIG, and then help yourself to some THING BIG... LOL.... She is so happy with what you bought her, how can she argue about what you bought... HA!!

Anyways on topic.. Sorry for the night pics, it was a work and i am normally not up during the day, so i havent had the time to go out and takes pics, or mostly i am lazy, or doing homework.... I talked with my paint guys, and they would NOT do another one of those again... Those of you wanting to do this youself, make sure you use the correct paints (HIGH-END, and HIGH- TEMP)... PLEASE, PLEASE FOLLOW the directions to the 'T'... and the MOST IMPORTANT, DO NOT RUSH THIS PROJECT!!! Give the paints time to cure.. Leave them out in the sun, if outside (dry place) might need to cover with something glass like to keep off unwanted pests... I didnt have an area to work with paints so i didnt do this myself.. This can be done yourself, just take care how you sand the pieces.

I really need to get to work on the updates HOW 2.. Sorry it is taking so long to complete.. I will do better...

I still uphold my deal to do this for others (need to find another painter first), but if i do this for others, this WILL COST YOU, not for the labor and time, i will not charge more than 25-50 dollars to do this, but you will also pay in material including painting these (80-120), again painted by the pros, and shipping cost both ways.. But the REALITY, my friends is that YOU CAN DO THIS YOURSELF.. If i did this, i guarentee you can do this ll by yourself, including the painting.. you will have to ask others like Joe and Deus for instruction on how to paint these, i only know what to look out for when completed.. Fish eyeing is the most common occurence with painting, either by the PRO's or yourself.. you have to make sure it will not have any bubbling or pealing issues before you put them back together.. and buy some SEALANT (RV BLACK TYPE--smelly must use in open well vented spaces) ...

I will be willing to loan those who need an extra set of lights, but you will be responsible for all shipping cost and the use of the lights, including all bulbs and condition of headlight... they are my original Halogen.. FOR NOW it is ONLY for LOCALS that want to do this ((i.e....GLUDE from Flint TX..))... I did this on my RAM a while back and use the COMMUNITY HEADLIGHTS, to pass around so all could do this mod... I wil let those know personally.. Take Care, and remember you relly CAN do this YOURSELF... LAter,

I talked to Brian Catts because I want to get the springs and RSB. He recommended to get the GR2 front struts too. i think it's about $200.
