Any one with the GR2 Struts? OR?

Guys, i had to post another thread on the Strut and Shocks question. My questions got barried in another post, so here goes.

I am planning on getting the GR2 Front Struts from Cattman, and i dont know many who have them.. How do they handle and are they work it.. I already have my Progress Springs, should be here on mon-tues.. YEAH!! But, i need some really good Struts and Shocks to go with them. I know the GR2's only come in struts for now, so i need some good rear shocks. Also is there ANYTHING ELSE I NEED FOR INSTALL, ANYTHING? Mounts, or whatever for these to work properly.. I want to do all this together, including my RSB so i dont have to pay out the wazoo for multiple installs..

thanks guys as usual...

I dont think anyone has em. I am ordering mine tommorrow from Cattman though so il let you know how they feel. From what Ive heard they are similar to oem but about 15% stiffer. You should get the AGX for the rear, the adjustablility is nice.

I know that KYB promissed to offer struts for our cars and it appears they followed through.

I have no idea how they handle. Shoot an email to them I know they are really good at answering questions.

They offer the GR2 struts...perhaps older gen owners can comment on how those handle. It appears that they have yet to offer the mounting hardware or boots.

Just talked to CATTMAN, and he said that he has the GR2 (STRUTS/front only)for our rides.. 04-06, and KYB will coming out with GR2 rears (shocks) sometime in the near future (around summer).. Hehas a great deal on them right now... More to follow after i get paid...

the site msoemax provided gives a stock # for the product, but i am not sure that the rears have been completed, since cattman is one of their dealers and is in touch with them.. LAter guys..

get coilovers. the car will ride rough, but no spring/shock will come close. last i heard on the 5th gens is tokicos 5 way adjustable with a decent spring puts you at the cheap *** price of the ksports. i have coilovers on both my cars, and you cant beat it. PERIOD sell the springs and go coilovers thats just my opinion

I have been monitoring the tokico site for a while now and nothing has been released for the 6th gen. I emailed them a loooong time ago and I never heard back from them. Not too many companies want to make struts for such a new car. I think over the next few years there may be more offerings. I know for a fact that KYB makes the factory struts and shocks for the 6th gen. I don't recall if tokico does. Personally I am not looking for performance from my struts...I just want the knocking to go away. No comments about bad struts please.

The GR2s can't be worse than the failing 04 struts.
