On the same note - I'm looking to see if anyone has installed upper portion on the dash with the OEM wood grain aftermarket packages.

I really interested and want to get rid on the aluminum portion in my SL, but because it looks like these aftermarket packages will not wrap around some of the edges, which the aluminum will still show.

Let me know who has installed this package?

Also, anyone know who make the OEM lower console, they may have this already made to replace the aluminum upper portion.

I bought a piece of felt, cut a hole in it for the shifter ****, and use it to cover the scratch-vulnerable area described in the post above. I have had good luck with keeping the surfaces pristine.

This place is good (exotic wood dash), I bought a kit for an Altima I had in 03 and it looked really good and the pieces are quality for stick on.

Hi,
Im relatively new here and sorry if this is in any way off topic, but i have the SL wood trim and was wondering if there are any places or solutions to get the aluminum SE trim. I don't want to spend a fortune on it, and asked for a quote from the dealer and the gave me around $700+ for the 7 wood pieces. Does anyone have any suggestions?
