Pics of my new maxima

The past couple weeks ago, I posted a long thread about wheather to get this maxima or not, and I ended up going with the car. It is in great condition, and mechanically, it runs pretty well. The motor is perfectly smooth, and it pulls very well.

I cleaned up the car, then took these pictures. Thought I'd share my purchase with you guys.

Thanks all for your help, especially DeusExMaxima for posting the thread for me, and chernmax for looking closely at this car.

Enjoy!!!

It’s always nice to see another elite package. If I remember correct, the radiant ember exterior color only came in the SE model with availability through July 2003. Interior color was standard black clothe or optional black or burnt orange leather. The burnt orange leather required the elite package.

Great find!

If you're pimp enough for the fuzzy dice then you need to go all the way and get the fuzzy dash and headliner to match. Later Huggybear.

I like the Max, nice find, enjoy and welcome to the Org.

It's a looker! Radiant Ember is the second best color for the Max (second to Onyx). The Elite Package tops it off.

You might hide those shagadellic floormats where you put the dice, though! Ha!

I'm just really after a reliable car that is safe. Right now, the maxima has more than enough power for me. So I plan on leaving it stock.

That is a beaut. That color with the elite package is very unique. Keep rollin you got the hook up on that. I would put it up. In 20 years the value might double for that car. You might even make the Barrets auction lol. Good luck and treat her good and bad when she wants it.

dla is correct that the last burnt ember Maxima was produced in July of 2003.

The burnt ember 6 speed will be the only 6th gen Maxima that will become a classic. Because of the relatively few that were built, it should happen sooner than usual.

This is the first 6th gen burnt ember with elite package I have seen. I live near a large dealer, and check out his lot every few days (being retired enables me to do foolish things). I also check out each Maxima that is in for service.

I would bet that if this car is cared for, it will never diminish in value. It could easily double in value in twenty years, and probably triple in thirty years.

Sometimes it is difficult to foresee what will become a classic. But this one is easy to predict.

Can't be much different than Minnesota! Seriously, get some real all season floor mats that actually hold water (and snirt). That carpet will just allow the water to soak through. I would hate to see premature floor pan rust occur on the potential “classic” you have on your hands. This way you can save the carpet floor mats for non winter use, and for you that's like what . . . three monhts
OK I'll get off the floor mat thing.

Nice color. I'm in the market for a 6th gen myself. I'd probably buy one in that color if I come across one. Very rare. Sweet.

When we were looking at our Maxima, we first checked out eBay (I know, crazy) but there was a Burnt Orance Elite Package 2004 (of course, it had Navigation as the only way to get that then was by getting the Elite package). It only had a few K miles on it and was $26K I think. Really, it was too short of notice to get everything lined up (and I heard bad things about early models too). So, we got a Red Opulence... still a nice color!

I love the color. I see plenty in that color in boston. The first 6 gen I ever saw was that color. I think it depends on the state you live in, because I don't see very many white 6 gens here.

Does the factory Maxima floor mats counts?? Because I do have them

Before I get into the car, I usually hit my shoes together to clear most of the snow. So the carpet doesn't get really wet, they are just there because the origional owner made them, and I don't want to get salt onto the sweet looking Maxima floor mats.
