Pulley and Performance Mods questions..

I an intrested in buying a racing pulley but would like to know the difference between the Unorthodox Racing Ultra Sc Street Charger Pulley and Unorthodox Racing - Ultra S Street Crank Pulley ??

1)Whats the difference between the S and Sc Pulley?
2)What are other performance mods i should do in which order?
3)Would the intake and pulley show some result?
4)I ordered a injen CAI and about to order a Racing pulley. Is that a OK" combo?

Sorry for so much questions..Decided to do some modss.

Thank you..

I would like to know also...

I have the Injen CAI, CE mid pipe and just ordered a cat back system from ebay, that seems to be it on mod options although an ECU mod is in the works and I would recommend that last so that the tune will take advantage of all the other mods. Headers are under construction from Cattman, results TBD.

i believe the difference is this. one is an underdrive pulley which means it is a different size than stock and therefor underdrives the accessorys, and the other i believe is stock size, both are light weight. i could be missing something here though.

my first mods for an SL would be suspension. performance wise would be exhaust/intake,

A light weight pully would be cool if the diameter stayed the same. I noticed the AC only cools good in the summer when the RPM's are alittle higher.

I curious about the ECM options. TEK is getting his chip rewritten for his mode, and others are using SAFC tuners. Other cars have the ability to connect a laptop and tune on the fly. Is this possible with the SAFC tuners? I would like to be able toswitch between fuel saving and performance.

First of all how many miles to you have on your car? You put in any pulley and something happens to the engine and the pully caused it. Say good bye to the warranty. Now if you don't care about that than here it goes. I would hold off on the pully for a while.

I have the URP, Injen CAI, CE Y-Pipe and the Greddy SP-2 Cat-back system.
Some members have the cattman cat-back system. There are alot of different companies out there for the 6th gen.

So check out the stickies which have good information also there are alot of threads on the questions that you are asking. Just so a search or run thru the pages you will find all the answers.

Check this out. I hope it helps.

the only way i would get a pulley is if it came in a set. i don't want to underdrive my accesarys, i would however get a light weight fly wheel. hey SR20den, who much for the ssim.

You still can't take that damn bolt off? Bring your car to NY. We will take care of it for you.

I know myself and chermax have can our pulley's on for over a year and have had no problems. If the pulley is installed correctly you should be OK. If you have under 36,000 miles on your don't do it yet because of the warranty. Just in case somrthink happens.

Good luck
Warren
