Wiper Blades for the 6th Gen...

Hey,

I was wondering if you guys are having problems finding wiper blades in the stock at your local auto parts stores? I know I am. Most of the places (autozone, advance auto parts) don't carry the driver side blade (26") unless its the cheapo kind. Most are special order for the driver side like the Trico Teflon blades or the Bosch blades.

Also, are those Valeo Ultimate Wiper Blades really that good? I saw that Tire Rack has them discounted for $19.99 each (driver & passenger blades).

hmmm....

yeah, you have to special order our sizes.
Advanced got my Icons one in 1 day and the other in 2 days.

I think there is still a $15 rebate per pair available. I ordered 2 pairs and awaiting my $30. plus I used 2 $5 coupons (they expired 12/31/05 though)

If there is a NAPA in your area, I'd try there. They had mine in stock and they weren't the chepo brands. I got the Bosch micro edge wipers.

I love my Valeo Ultimate Wiper Blades! They've been on my '04 for a year through ice (Virginia), snow (Northern Arizona), & rain (virtually everywhere else) and not a problem with them so far.

I wish Tire Rack discounted them several months ago when I bought a set for my '99 Maxima.

I roll with Bosch Ikons. Best wipers I have ever had. And I didn't have patiense to order and wait so I got 24" for drivers side and 18" for passanger side. Works like a charm and really no noticable difference in comparison to stock.

I can also vouch for these wipers. Great in rain and/or snow. A little pricey though. Even bought a set for my wife's car.

Well, I just bought a set of the Valeo wipers from TireRack. Should be coming in the next few days. Those Bosch Icon and the Trico Innovision blades look really good also.

next person buying a set, can you buy 2 sets?

I will buy one set from you, I cannot get them here in Canada, and no vendor that does sell them will ship them here. Of course I will pay for all shipping expensnes and such.

Thanks a million,

Kam

Yeah I got the valeos when they came out for $80, but then there were no alternatives to get that design. The bosch look exactly the same, ill get those next.

Found the 26" at Autozone last week. Couldn't find it at a couple other places I looked though.

No they dont ship here cause amazon.ca does that. But amazon.ca doesnt have that listed. Right now I have the Canadian Tire Reflex Blades, but the friggin thing keeps ripping on me, so Canadian Tire keeps replacing them under their gurantee. I have not had a set longer then 3 months. I also bought a set for the family beater and the passenger one also ripped.
