Look in the stickys. Just remove the center dash piece. You'll see it

Yes

You need to remove the display with the brackets that tie it into the dash and headunit.

#1 Remove the shifter gate. per stickey

#2 Remove the tape/ cd player bezel. per stickey

#3 Remove the display bezel. per stickey

#4 Remove the four or six screws which bolt the bracket into the dash. This is the bracket that is on both sides of the display and extends down to the head unit.

#5 Slide the bracket assembly out.

#6 Disconnect the wires for the head unit and display. This is challenging.
The display and head unit etc will still be attached.

#7 Unbolt/unscrew the head unit from the brackets. It is screwed in through the sides.

Then remove.

Wala

Or you could use the factory instruction which calls for removal of the center console.

Let me know if you need more.

Stickeys

Stickeys are nice but often incomplete.

Previously the stickey was incorrect and I broke my shift **** retainer removing it. (there is a note not to do as instructed but it has not always been there)

The stickey deals with the removal of the bezels but not the radio.

I am sure I will get flamed for this but it is the truth.

WTF

Its been fun.
