I saw a while back instructions on how to replace one of these. Does anyone know where that thread is located? 2004 Max SL

I did not save the thread, but did copy what appeared to be the best advice from that thread. Here is what I copied into a Word document titled: Replacing In-Cabin Air Filter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
In-cabin Microfilter filters the air you breath inside your vehicle; reduces road dust, pollen and other air pollutants. Replace annually or every 15,000 miles (whichever comes first).
Changing is not that hard, the procedure is in the manual. just remove the glove box door, a cover from the filter and...bam it's done
How do you pull put those damn tabs under the glove box? They don’t seem to want to budge.. Flathead screwdriver worked for me. The flathead also helps removing the old filter. You also need to be careful to install the new filter just like the old one. It lays flat, resting on TOP of the two tabs you will see after removing the door.
yeah, those tabs were a PITA. and silly me, I start reading the instructions w/ the new filter... well I removed some unnecessary things and figured "this ain't right" Good ole manual set me right.
The two back tabs underneath would be troublesome for 1stimer. I just push them outward with my thumb. I think I had to turn them counterclockwise to unlock first.
