350z brembo conversion??

Ok, if you want to spend 400-500 on 4 piston brakes, u can get the brackets and stainless lines from Matt Blehmco for about $210, and u can score the 4 piston calipers from 300zx for about 200+. I am looking for aluminum calipers for lighter weight. I am watching auctions on ebay. Then Ill send my 210 to matt and he'll make me the brackets.
If you go with Brembos, I think you are looking at a minumum of $1,000 for the calipers, used, and several hundred more for the rotors, possibly. Dont even think about buying these calipers from the dealer. Lots of $$$$$$$$.
Ill keep u posted on my 300zx BBK conversion.

Thanks Deus;
That helps a lot. I don't want to spend that kinda money for brakes on a everyday driver. (brembo's) Let us know how the 300zx conversion goes. So that guys spent 1000's of dollars for brakes on an altima? what ever floats his boat.

I mean the only rational way to have Brembo calipers is if u luck out and find them for sale on ebay or the like. Its a shame cuz they are very good and look good too. I had Brembos on my Spec V and DAMN they stopped good!!! I miss them.

rotors for brembos coming soon
have the brembo calipers from a G35 and have been working on getting these to fit the 6th gen max. well the first thing i did was pulled the rotor off the front and checked to see if the caliper would bolt up. and it did. Next i removed the caliper and reimstalled the rotor. the problem that i found was the rotor was slightly to large in diameter. the rotor hat was also another problem. it was rubbing the underside of the caliper. the other was a ever so slight offset problem. as of right now im having a machine shop with set of the OEM brembo rotors getting worked on right now. the way i fixed the offet problem with the rotor is with a thin sheet of steel, it was cut out in a manor to be insterted between the rotor and the hub. this is all temp. right now because my plans are the have rotors made for this application.

Also, if u do the front, do the rear. Its easy and direct bolton, all u need to do is trim the dust shield or just remove it.
Best thing would be to have a bracket made for the caliper to move it forward on the assembly, I will have a bracket made for my ride so I can use OE rotors with my wilwood calipers in the winter time. Basically all it is, just a shorter bracket then the one that came with my wilwoods.
Or just buy thease

I was actually going to get the Sentra Brembo calipers since its quite abit cheaper than the Z ones. Might want to look into that, unless you have the money and want to the get the Z brembo calipers. BTW the Z brembo caliper list at $1293 each and the sentra is $298 each. . Either way you will need to make a bracket in order to install these.
