by brighter do you mean more glare for oncoming traffic? cuz thats all a higher temp bulb will do. the further you get away from 4300K the less light output you get and the more glare oncoming drivers will see. although you get more color from the light, the output is less, its all about what your looking to get tho.

You'd have to be crazy to pay that without seeing these things in person installed.....PIAA is way overpriced, im sure you can find higher kelvin D2S for less than half that price, we have such good color from our cutoffs who'd wanna change that? I wouldnt...I think the 6th gen has the best looking HID out there, more colorful than BMW.

nope, the more k the blue'er and purple they get causing a darker light output...

from 4K to 6K are the best..

under 4k they get yelloish, good for foggy conditions..

For that price I was looking for the sun itself. That price is outrageous. That is almost a car note by itself. You can get different color temperatures for way less. The more kelvin's mean more blue to purple in the higher ranges. I noticed they didn't show there hid's compared to others. I you get any brighter you could really bother other drivers and potentially cause an accident.

Yep, 6600 isn't going to be necessarily brighter, just bluer/purpler (spelling?) I wouldn't think about buying those unless they can provide some good comparison photos at the very least and offer a good return policy.

like all pia bulbs- the price is high and quality is low. if you are looking for a quality bulb w/ a slightly bluish output that does not sacrifice to much output, look for a pair of 6000k philips ultinons

stick with 4300k. anything higher than that will cause frustration during rain.

Lol!!!! Lmfao!!

Go to our group buy section FIRST!!!

Talk to UMNITZA (Matt) or Helios (Sebastian) and get an H3 HID kit.

I bought the 3000k HID H3 Kit, 2 bulbs, 2 ballasts, 2 igniters for $235 with lifetime warranty from Umnitza!

Dude, at first i got the 6000K bulbs and they were so~ so~, nice color, but a lot of blue and snow just glared off into my eyes, then I ended up getting 3000K bulbs.!!!! WOW I drive with the yellow fogs on all the time, drove in fog last week and I swear to god i felt like I hod FOG VISION, I could see everthing.

F()()K PIAA, those pisann bastards will scam you just cause they have a few rally cars with their name on it..... so they got a brand name, whoopty doo. I can stick a PIAA sticker on a box of shizt and sell it as a marketable product.

Screw that, save your money, if you want the highest light output, go for 4000K philip bulbs, want blue go for 6000K, want purple go for 12000K, want great fog vision go for 3000K yellow.

Good Luck,

Kam

PS- you dont have to get micro h3, I have full size H3hid bulbs in my stock fog location and they fit without a doubt.
