Forget old, what 's new, wheres the MAX???

 

the max is still here but still a little bit stock

 

I had a green '94 Plymouth Sundance. The engine and transmission were in fairly bad shape when I turned it in. They both leaked oil/tranny fluid pretty badly. The CV joints were shot, and it would die sometimes while driving (once in the middle of an intersection - very scary). Oh, and the diesling was a fun issue too - it took several minutes to start after it would diesel when turning off. Also, the oil drain plug was cross threaded during it's last oil change, and since I was in the process of buying the Max about when this happened (took several weeks to decide which car, get the right options, etc), I just let it go... it maybe had 10K miles on the last oil. I got $100 at trade in.

Still, I miss the car and all of it's little quirks (it was my first car and I had it for years; I had even been through a serious accident with it). Often times I had to turn off the A/C (or as I called it the "turbo" button) to get up a hill, etc... and even then passing was out of the question for all but the slowest vehicles.

But now that I have my Max, I don't miss it quite so much.

 

Before my 04 I was driving a 2000 Max which I still own. You can see it in my sig and on my cardomain. Before the both of those I had a 95 Max MT SE.

 

befor my max I had an 03 Dodge Ram Quad Cab and before that I had a 01 MAX Anniversary Edition. Regret getting rid of that max.

I had a 96 taurus gl...makes the max feel like a bugatti veyron in terms of power.

 

I had a 2003 V8 Limited 4Runner, still have but my brother drives it

 

Why'd you get rid of it? Gas guzzler? lol

Danmmmm that's a big change to your Max. How do you tow your boat?

The Nissan ones are:

'01 Pathfinder LE (HKS exhaust/intake, Lots of A/V equipped)
'00 Max SE (loaded, bone stock)
'93 Sentra SE-R (white not-so-rice rice; more sho, less go)
'90 Sentra XE-? (15.2 sec. at 91 MPH fast for back then)

Had a 95 Max GXE, 86 Max, 97 Max GLE, then now, the 04 SE. Somehow skipped the odd numbered generation Maxima's
Before any Max's, I drove a 1987 Nissan Go-Kart...er...I mean Pulsar. 69HP 3spd auto! WOOHOO!...FEEL THE POWER!!

Before the Maxima I had a 2002 Sunfire, which I still own and is my wifes car. What I ACTUALLY OWNED before the Maxima was a 1988 Honda CRX B18 VTEC swap with I/H/E bigmouth bodykit 5% tint all the way around and 50 shot of funny juice. I really hated that car, but I was going through my "ricer" stage with car modding and I guess I was trying to "fit in" to the crowd.

I look back now and its a little how much money I put into that car just to trade it in for Sunfire.

Marriage will do that to a man.
