Want Auto power rear windows

Hey GURUS! I have an SE and I want to have the auto up and down rear window switches like the SL model so that when I put the windows down from the remote, they ALL go down and not just the front. Anyone ever tried this swap? Is it just the switches I gotta get, or are there extra relays involved too? Also, any tips about how to take apart the rear doors? Thanks in advance.

FYI, that option is on the Elite package, not just the SL version....
As far as doing it, I'm not much help.

No the SL doesnt have the rear window auto thing... if you hold down the "unlock" button on the remote, only the front ones go down.

DEI has a window control module(530T) for about $40 that you can get for 1-touch up and down.

Thanks for clearing that up J. I thought it was standard on the SL, but I see now that it comes with the elite package.

I thought about this RH, but my main goal is to have the rear windows go down with the fronts with the remote. Dont know if the aftermarket parts would work with that? Would there be extra wiring involved from the rear window switches to the fronts or possibly to the remote receiver to get this to work?

Like J said, if you have the elite package, all of your windows should do auto up and down, but only auto down from the remote, I guess for safety reasons.

It's design to work w/ different alarm systems. I had it rolled up and down w/ remote on my old car. I don't see why it won't work w/ our cars. I usually don't have people in the back seat, so I'm not going to get it installed.

The only way I know how to get the windows back up from outside the car would be with the key in the door lock, you turn it to the right and hold for a few seconds, unless you get a custom install to do this.

it shouldn't be that hard to add the window down feature for the rear, i would think you would just need a relay of some sort. but of course i could be wrong.

THe car already has the down feature built-in w/ factory alarm, just has to tap the wire. To roll up, you would have to upgrade the alarm, unless you want them up everytime you lock the doors.
